What We Do
The CA Department of General Services, Statewide Travel Program (STP) assists K-12 Public School Districts with their business travel needs by obtaining the most economical rates and fares available through the use of contracted travel-related services for airfare, car rental, travel agency & travel payment system.
The STP provides a one-stop shop travel program for government travelers, assisting school districts with their duty of care responsibilities, travel policy compliance, and data/reporting needs. Districts have access to the state-contracted travel agency, CalTravelStore, and the online booking tool, Concur, for making business travel arrangements, as well as access to multiple airline rates and discounts, negotiated car rental rates, and extermely low transaction fees.
